Spring Circles + Bee Friends - Pretty Pink Posh

Hi, friends! It's Leica here today. I have a card and tag set using a combination of old and new stamp sets from Pretty Pink Posh. The old stamp set is Bee Friends and the new one is Spring Circles. I love that the new Spring Circles stamp sets go perfectly together with other PPP products, such as the Hummingbird Thanks, any of the butterflies sets, Spring Robins, Spring Scene Die, and the new Flower Bouquets Stamp Set.

Let's start with the circle card. To begin, I die cut a white cardstock using a 4.5" circle die and another one in 4". I then ink blended the smaller circle with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink and sprayed some water for some interest. I also cut a small part of the circle in white cardstock for the grass area and inked with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide. The scallop edge is cut using Scallop Borders Dies. I ended up with 2 layers of the grass area, because the inked smudged on the first layer so I fixed my mistake by adhering another layer on top. In the end, I liked the look of the double scallop edging for the grass.

Next, I stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Bee Friends Stamp Set. I then stamped the bee trails on the circle panel and the sentiment on the grass piece. Lastly, I adhered the stamped images onto the card panel using liquid glue and the bees with foam tape for dimension.

For the matching tag, I used the tag die from the Spring Circles Coordinating Dies. I used the Mini Polka Dots Stencil with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink for the background. The bee image in a circle is from Spring Circles and I added a little bee from the Bee Friends Stamp Set, too.  Lastly, the From Me to You sentiment is from Bear Friends Stamp Set. Make sure to check your stash for other beautiful sentiments that fit on the Simple Strips Dies.

That's all for this card and tag duo. I hope you are inspired to use the older PPP sets and make matching cards and tags with the new Spring Circles Stamp Sets and Coordinating Dies. Have a great day!

Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop and happy  9th birthday, PPP!  Today, I’m sharing a birthday card and a gift card holder that I made using dies and stencils from the new Birthday Release.  For my card, I started with an A2-sized white cardstock that I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed some water for an oxidized effect and also splattered some white ink on it. I then took a scrap of white cardstock and used finger daubers to ink blend Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. I sprayed water, splattered white ink, and cut the rainbow colored panel with the WISH die. I also cut the flame from the Birthday Mug Addition Dies and ink blended it with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink.  Next, I stamped the sentiments with black ink then foam mounted WISH and the flame on the card panel. I also added some pearls for inter

Pretty Pink Posh March 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh February 2023 Release Blog Hop! For my card, I started with a 4.5” square white cardstock and I ink blended through the Layered Carrots Stencil with Distress Oxide Inks.  Layer A: Dried Marigold Layer B: Spiced Marmalade Layer C: Twisted Citron I then matted this stenciled panel on a 5” square cardstock that I ink blended with Spiced Marmalade. For added interest, I sprayed this larger panel with water that has a bit of white ink.  Next, I cut the dies from the Winter Mug Dies and the new Easter Mug Additions Dies in white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers and Distress Oxide Inks. The blue bunny mug also got a print from the Mini Grid Stencil . Before foam mounting the mug, I placed a sheet of vellum to soften the carrot background and I also stamped the sentiment onto the vellum with Stazon ink.  Here are the Copic markers I used for the mini eggs: BG70, R00, V000, Y11, YG61, YR000 I embellished the card with Pi
