Hello, crafty friends!
Today, I am sharing a super cute project made using the bottom part of a 12x12 scrapbook paper. The sheet is called Happy Place Paper which is from the Crate Paper Sunny Days collection by Maggie Holmes.

I originally was going to cut the tags individually and make a tag flip, but my brain wanted to make something else. LOL! I scored between the tags and created accordion folds. I knew that I wanted to use the yellow tag with the hotel as my cover since this will be a mini album for a staycation that my family and I took last summer.
We stayed at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. For this album, I printed out digital elements from AC Digitals and fussy cut them. I added a lot of butterflies, of course. Please note that some of the photos I added to this album are stock photos from the hotel's website.
I just love how chunky it turned out and the colors make me so happy. To keep the album closed, I wrapped pink seam binding around and tied into a bow.
Here is the back of the album. How perfect is the little cutout with the word Monarch?!
There was this cute little car in the hotel's private beach parking lot. I wished I had my DSLR that weekend. I took this photo with my iPhone.
The next 2 photos were taken from the hotel's website.
Here is an iPhone photo of Monarch's private beach. My family and I enjoyed the water and played volleyball in the sand. We mostly chased after the ball.
Here is the other side of the album. These 3 photos were printed out from the internet - aerial photo of the private beach, what our room looked like, and the family pool. We did a lot of swimming that weekend and overall, enjoyed our mini staycation.
Here are the cutouts that I clipped onto one of the tags with a gold paper clip.
I hope you enjoyed today's colorful project!
